A growing company in Johnson County is looking for an experienced Accountant / Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage its accounting functions and oversee human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial expertise and a deep understanding of accounting practices who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

### Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with an external CPA firm, assisting with the annual audit and tax process.
- Process payroll, ensure tax reporting compliance, and enter timecards for hourly employees.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
- Prepare and enter journal entries.
- Conduct bank and account reconciliations.
- Manage human resources functions, including employee benefits and retirement plans.
- Maintain and update employee files, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Support additional tasks as assigned by management.

### Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
- Experience in human resources administration.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively convey financial information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
