Title: Sr. Cloud/full Stack Engineer ( AWS)

Location: Westlake, TX (Local candidates only)

Duration: 12+ months

Client: Fidelity

Rate: 70-80/hr on W2

While this role is technically listed as a Cloud Engineer. This is really like a Full Stack Engineer with end to end AWS experience. So please actually read this and do not send me devops candidates. Let me know if there are any questions. Info on the team: They have a start up mindset in this group, they have been collecting metrics across FAE, collecting Github approvals, and gathering this information into Snowflake. Now they will need someone to come in and build the portals so they can digest, and make the info useful.

Top Skills: UI Development in Angular API Integration skills Java or Python for backend, either is fine, more likely to find java and angular profile. Really strong AWS skills, in EC2, S3, Cloudformation, Lambda. Personality is key, they are looking to mimic the profile of another candidate I hired in Ireland. Go getter personality, not someone who just sits and waits for work.

Interview Process: 2 rounds. First with Neil, second will be technical with squad lead and some engineers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Hands-on experience in 2 or more languages (Java, Python, Go, C++, Angular etc.)
• Experience designing & developing APIs or backend technology stacks.
• Experience delivering applications using software engineering best practices and principles.
• Hands on experience applying software engineering design principles & patterns.
• Strong experience working hands-on with AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Arm, Terraform etc).
• Experience designing and architecting cloud native applications.
• Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
• Passionate for new technologies and cloud trends.
• Passion for a devops and continuous learning culture.

Bonus skills

• Cloud Certifications in AWS, Azure or Kubernetes.
