Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director of Finance to oversee and provide leadership for the financial operations of our organization. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financials, manage financial planning processes, and guide the accounting team. You will play a critical role in the successful execution of month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial closings, as well as the consolidation of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the financial operations of the company, ensuring a solid structure for corporate financial planning.
Manage cash flow and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions.
Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
Prepare and present financial performance reports to management.
Develop and maintain short and long-term financial forecasts to guide decision-making for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Oversee documentation for external audits and tax functions, coordinating with external audit firms.
Manage insurance and licensing renewals and coordinate with external vendors.
Conduct vendor analysis for Tier 1 vendors.
Collaborate with subsidiaries and related entities to analyze and report on their financial performance.
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.
Ensure compliance with client contracts and work standards.
Perform other tasks as required to support the organization's objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).
CPA designation (Required).
A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a management role; public accounting experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, internal controls, and accounting principles.
Proficient in handling inter-company accounts, reconciliations, and financial consolidations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative in workload management and professional growth.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial matters.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, often taking a hands-on approach.
