Purpose of the Role

To provide accurate and effective project drawings to the local and global design Engineering (Level 1 & 2) teams, sales teams and production teams whilst producing and maintaining technical documentation for all products from the Leviat range. Support the Design Engineers and R&D Team with project drawings. The role is based in Poznan/Kalisz

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Creation of 2D and 3D models and parts lists for product application

• Support engineering teams with project drawings.

• Development of customer-specific design proposals

• Active communication with customers, as well as with sales and production

• Continuous development of BIM activities in own work area

• Helping to design bespoke project-specific products obeying all code requirements and manufacturing restrictions.

• Identify additional business opportunities in projects that are worked on.

• Convert users of traditional methods to improved alternatives that use Leviat products.

• Support Software developments with input regarding the product design.

• Maintain accurate records of project specific information using the company CRM system. 

• Assist in Research and Development tasks as requested.

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience

• Successfully completed training as a technical draftsman in the field of mechanical engineering or civil engineering

• Several years of experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor software or Revit

• Independent, flexible and goal-oriented way of working with strong skills in time management

• Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with and manage at all levels in the organization

• Positive attitude and open mindset

• Good knowledge of German and English and confident handling of MS-Office
