The FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX has rapidly become a world-class event in its first two years. This three-day spectacle attracts a global audience to witness the world's greatest drivers and cars navigate the iconic Las Vegas Strip at breathtaking speeds approaching 200 mph.

Grand Prix Plaza is the world’s largest immersive Formula 1 attraction, featuring thrilling interactive experiences: F1 X , a 4D journey through a tech driven attraction; F1 DRIVE , kart racing powered by advanced DRS technology; and F1 HUB featuring state-of-the-art simulators, a flagship F1 store, and elevated restaurant and lounge offerings.

Summary Of Job

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Marketing & PR Specialist to support our integrated marketing & public relations efforts for both the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Grand Prix Plaza. This role reports directly into the Senior Manager of Marketing and will play a key part in developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating content for various channels, managing media relations, and building and maintaining the organization's brand image.

As a Marketing & PR Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between the race, Grand Prix Plaza and the public, helping to shape perceptions and amplify visibility through strategic messaging and proactive outreach. From supporting high-profile campaigns and community-focused initiatives to managing press relations and driving media & influencer attendance, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Grand Prix Plaza remain top-of-mind with fans, media, and partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and public relations plans for both the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Grand Prix Plaza.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to align messaging across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Help manage day-to-day media inquiries and coordinate timely responses with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors and agencies, and community partners to support marketing and PR objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities for growth for both GPP and race ticket sales.
  • Monitor and analyze social media analytics to generate impactful campaigns and content.
  • Support media & influencer credentialing processes and onsite operations during race week and special events.
  • Assist in creating marketing copy for promotional materials, social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Help activate on-site marketing elements during events and ensure brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or event communications, preferably in sports, entertainment, or tourism.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with media outlets and handling high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of the Formula 1 ecosystem or live event marketing is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
